In line with its commitment to fostering international education and cultural exchange, Vasant Valley School successfully conducted their first educational trip to Japan.
A delegation of 23 students and teachers visited Shibuya Kyoiku Gakuen, one of Japan’s most prestigious academic institutions.
Shibuya Kyoiku Gakuen operates two schools—Shibuya Junior and Senior High School and Makuhari Junior and Senior High School. Both are renowned for educational excellence, and many graduates from these schools go on to attend the University of Tokyo, Japan’s top university, as well as other world-class universities abroad.
During their visit, the students participated in a variety of cultural and educational activities, including the traditional Japanese tea ceremony and interactive sessions with their student buddies. They also attended regular classes and took part in school cleaning duties, gaining an immersive experience of Japanese school life and a deeper appreciation for the nation’s unique cultural practices. Interacting with Japanese students also helped them understand and take pride in their own culture.
This visit followed the successful hosting of Shibuya Kyoiku Gakuen students at Vasant Valley School in August. These reciprocal exchanges have provided students from both countries with invaluable opportunities to deepen mutual understanding, develop cross-cultural friendships, and forge strong, lasting bonds.
As the organizers of this program, we are honored to provide such meaningful opportunities for the future leaders of both countries.
